Retail Operations for Multiple Toy Sales Formats

A collectible and construction toy brand needed its stores to support both individual-box and full-box sales, alongside product updates, replenishment and customer reservations. Each sales format had its own pricing, while inventory and headquarters data needed to remain consistent.

PEKON adapted its retail platform to the brand’s sales model, connecting store transactions and inventory management with the brand’s existing product and inventory systems.

A Shared Inventory Basis for Individual and Full Boxes

Stores can sell individual boxes or full boxes and maintain separate prices for each format. Inventory movements follow the defined product composition, so both formats use a consistent quantity basis. This reduces the need for separate sales and inventory records maintained by store staff.

Keeping Product Updates Aligned with Store Sales

As product series evolve, stores need the corresponding sales information. PEKON established links between individual and full boxes within the brand’s product structure, allowing product information and sales status to be updated together and helping stores work from consistent records.

Consistent Ordering, Receiving and Inventory Reconciliation

The project organizes ordering and receiving around the quantities managed by stores, records delivery discrepancies and connects with the brand’s inventory system. Corresponding records link headquarters supply with store receipt, providing a clear basis for routine inventory reconciliation.

Connected Records from Reservation to Store Pickup

For reservations of existing products, the system records customer requests and supports arrival notifications and store pickup. Reservations, collection and completed sales remain linked, allowing staff to follow up on customer needs using business records rather than relying solely on manual reminders.

Putting Industry Experience into Store Operations

Toy brands differ in more than product names. Their sales units, product combinations, launch schedules and reservation processes also vary. Built on an established retail platform, PEKON incorporates these differences into product, transaction and inventory workflows, supporting coordination between stores and headquarters.
